Job summary

Legends is seeking a Security Officer for the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO. Shift 3:30pm - 12am; maintain safety, patrol, observe, and document incidents; serve as contact for security issues.

You will enforce event policies, screen credentials, assist guests, and coordinate with local public safety as needed. Requires high school diploma, 1+ year experience, English communication, and ability to obtain a license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year related security experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication in English.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a commission license.
• Professional conduct and confidentiality.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests, vendors, artists, and employees in a courteous and professional manner while complying with all legal, ethical, and operational instructions.
• Enforce event policies and procedures and respond to security- and safety-related calls promptly.
• Observe, monitor, and report ongoing activity, identifying and documenting unusual occurrences.
• Maintain accurate logs of incidents, movements, and related activity.
• Screen and verify employees, vendors, delivery personnel, guests, and artists entering the venue to ensure proper access authorization.
• Review credentials and documentation for validity.
• Provide customer service support before, during, and after events, including directions, information, instructions, escorts, and assistance with medical response as required.
• Responds to security and safety calls promptly.
• Stand post and conduct patrols of the facility, search guest bags, prevent prohibited items from entering the facility, investigate & compile incidents accurately, and screen guests with metal detectors, wands and pat down procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
