Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Environmental Services Lead for the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City to oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure cleanliness and safety during events, and coordinate on-the-floor tasks with the team.

You will train staff, monitor quality, schedule work, and collaborate with supervisors to maintain efficient, guest-focused service in a fast-paced arena environment.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of housekeeping, custodial, environmental services, hospitality, or related customer service experience.
• Previous lead, trainer, or informal leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate work assignments while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Working knowledge of commercial cleaning methods, chemicals, and housekeeping equipment.
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing operational demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships across departments.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in daily housekeeping operations to meet cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and monitor productivity during shifts.
• Provide on-the-job training for cleaning procedures and safety practices.
• Inspect areas for cleanliness and safety and resolve issues with the team.
• Communicate staffing needs and quality concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with event changeovers and post-event cleanup.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and guest service throughout the facility.
