Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Event Staff to support sports events and concerts in the Pittsburgh area. This role offers flexible, part-time scheduling, no experience required, and weekly pay to help you earn extra income on evenings and weekends.

You will greet guests, collect tickets or scan entries, direct foot traffic, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining venue safety and cleanliness. Join a welcoming team and grow with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required; Driver’s Record check may be requested.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Allows appropriate entry into each venue, may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venue.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events.
• Initiates a genuine, friendly and personal greeting to guests as they arrive and a sincere thank you at departure.
• Provides guests with directions and/or suggestions that enhance their entertainment experience.
• Interactions with guests include a smile and a natural speaking voice.
