BEST Crowd Management is hiring for Event Security at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. The role supports event staff and security duties to create a safe and enjoyable attendee experience.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred), and can pass a background check and drug screening. Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays within event schedules.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary by location).
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (some college education is preferred).
• Previous experience in event security, law enforcement, or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, including equipment, signage and other materials.
• Monitor access points and conduct security checks to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Provide friendly customer service by assisting attendees with inquiries and directions.
• Collaborate with event staff and security to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist in crowd management, controlling entry and exit points and attendee flow.
• Respond to security incidents or emergencies per established protocols.
• Monitor event areas to enforce rules and safety procedures.
• Handle attendee complaints or conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Adhere to company policies to deliver high standards of service and security.
