Allied Universal Event Services is seeking part-time Event Security staff in Cleveland, OH, delivering safety and guest service at venues including sports arenas and concerts.

Role emphasizes bag checks, access control, and policy enforcement with weekly pay and flexible scheduling under 30 hours/week. Requires background check and drug testing, with a starting pay of $15.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Ability to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Control access and verify tickets, wristbands and badges as guests enter the venue.
• Screen guests during entry using bag searches, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches at key points.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when necessary.
• Follow policies and regulations of various venues and events.
• Provide a positive guest experience at facility entrances, aisles, concourses, or other areas.
• Offer directions and suggestions to enhance guest entertainment experience.
