Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring part-time event staff in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves welcoming and ushering guests, collecting tickets, and delivering superior customer service in a dynamic event setting.

No prior experience is required; a licensing course is completed post hire. The position offers weekly pay and a flexible schedule, with opportunities to work at sports venues, concerts, and conventions across the area.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required; Driver's Record check may be needed.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct entry, scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic in/out of venue.
• Demonstrates understanding of policies, procedures and regulations of venues, facilities and events.
• Greet guests with a genuine, friendly welcome and thank them as they depart.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance entertainment experience.
• Maintain a friendly tone and natural speaking voice with guests.
