Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking an energetic usher to assist guests at entertainment events at its Las Vegas venues, including The Orleans. You will collect admission tickets, distribute programs, help guests find seats, and answer questions about the venue and its offerings.

You must be able to stand for long periods, assist guests in wheelchairs, and stay alert to emergencies while providing friendly, responsive service.

Qualifications

• Six months of usher experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to stand and walk (incl. stairs) for extended periods.
• Able to bend and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to quickly read and interpret event tickets.
• Able to assist guests in wheelchairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide general information about the property and event offerings.
• Ensure guests are properly seated and late seating policies followed.
• Assist with guest seating and ticketing situations.
• Distribute event programs.
• Assist with enforcing camera/tape policy for each event.
• Alert management of any guest’s special needs or emergencies.
