Job summary

SSA Group is seeking an Event Sales Associate to support the Catering Sales Team in creating exceptional guest experiences across multiple units. You will coordinate with the Event Sales Coordinator and Catering Sales Manager to plan events, upsell services, and ensure contracts, BEOs, and diagrams are accurately prepared.

You will engage with clients, manage deposits and payments, and work with culinary, operations, and other departments to deliver flawless events while upholding company

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to articulate to clients, General Manager and HQ personnel.
• Ability to build partnerships and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs as needed for events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for guests and clients.
• Assist Event Sales Coordinator with daily duties and tasks.
• Handle birthday inquiries and upsell/event details with clients.
• Prepare contracts, BEOs, diagrams, and internal documents.
• Maintain timely communication with clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Catering Operations, Culinary Team, and departments to execute events with excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, space feasibility, and yield management.
• Promote sustainability and community engagement initiatives.
