Job summary

SSA Consulting Group seeks an Event Sales Coordinator to manage school group meals, birthday parties, and the detailing and coordination of events passed on by the Catering & Events Sales Team. You will organize, finalize details and adjust for changes, communicating directly with the client.

The coordinator will plan, oversee and execute all catering and event services for groups, while meeting customer expectations with operations and culinary teams.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and HQ.
• Ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams for events.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Live out SSA hospitality by delivering warm, memorable experiences.
• Plan, detail, and coordinate events from menu to setup.
• Prepare contracts, BEOs, diagrams and internal documents.
• Communicate thoroughly with clients and operations teams.
• Secure deposits and ensure full payments prior to events.
• Coordinate with selling manager on event execution and staffing.
