Job Summary

The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving private event sales and ensuring successful execution of events. You will manage client relationships, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure events meet brand standards and operational excellence. Collaboration with the General Manager, FOH leadership, and Regional Directors is essential to deliver exceptional guest experiences and meet revenue goals.

Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
  • Prospect and respond to inquiries to secure private event bookings, meeting sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, local businesses, and community organizations.
  • Develop creative, tailored proposals aligned with venue capabilities and brand standards.
Event Coordination
  • Serve as the main contact for clients during event planning, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with FOH/BOH teams to execute events seamlessly.
  • Coordinate event details including menus, timelines, and special requests.
Operational Support
  • Attend events to oversee execution and address client concerns.
  • Work with FOH and kitchen teams for setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups for feedback and future opportunities.
Financial Contribution
  • Develop strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor costs and work within budgets.
  • Provide sales reports to the General Manager.
Guest Engagement & Brand Representation
  • Promote the venue's offerings to potential clients.
  • Handle inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Uphold the brand's reputation for quality and service.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in event sales or management in an upscale venue.
  • Proven sales success and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Experience with event management software, CRM, and POS systems.
Requirements
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Average of 40-45 hours/week, flexible based on events.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
