Job summary

Twice in Gilbert, AZ seeks an Event Sales Manager to plan and execute event sales, enhancing member and guest experiences while driving revenue. You will lead the Event Sales Coordinator, manage client relationships, and collaborate with the Event Sales Director to achieve annual plans.

You will partner with club leadership, analyze trends, and ensure service excellence. Strong prospecting, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in a commissioned sales role within hospitality/events with proven sales results.
• Preferred college degree in hospitality or marketing.
• Experience establishing programs to drive event revenues.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and event management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with client/staff relationship-building ability.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct execution of event sales plans to drive revenue.
• Provide direction to Event Sales Coordinator to meet targets.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities for sales strategy insights.
• Cultivate and manage client relationships and networking opportunities.
• Guide client consultations and develop event solutions aligned with club objectives.
• Incorporate client feedback to improve service and satisfaction.
• Maintain documentation and tracking of event activities and expenses.
• Utilize Cater Pro and Power BI to track performance and data.
