Job summary

City Springs campus event staff seeks an on-site Event Coordinator to ensure seamless execution of weddings, concerts, and community events. You will be the calm presence, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet policies and quality standards.

The role requires strong guest service, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced venue. Open availability is needed for evenings, weekends, and holidays in Sandy Springs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; up to 29 hours per week.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Preferred: college degree or pursuing degree.
• Experience in event management, hospitality, or customer service; background in performing arts/theatre production.

Responsibilities

• Be the on-site liaison during events and ensure policy compliance.
• Lead event logistics including load-in and load-out for clients and vendors.
• Coordinate with technical, operations, and security teams.
• Support Sales Managers on event days delivering high-level service.
• Manage corporate and social events across rented spaces.
• Prepare and manage BEOs, floor plans, and reports.
• Track parking validation and related event data.
• Document client concerns and emergency responses for reporting.
• Troubleshoot minor technology issues and assist with basic event production.
