Job summary

CDS Account Executive in Chicago develops and manages special event programs for Costco vendors. You will shape event strategy with the Sales Director and oversee day-to-day logistics while pursuing additional business opportunities.

CDS has 25+ years of experience in product demonstrations, marketing services and vendor partnerships. The role offers full benefits, 401(k) and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in sales developing new business while executing event logistics.
• Ability to handle confidential information with urgency.
• Working knowledge of marketing is a plus.
• Strong leadership, relationship building and project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily scheduling of demo events across assigned Costco departments.
• Partner with Costco buyers to develop demo programs and drive sales.
• Collaborate with vendors to develop and monitor programs and provide program recaps.
• Manage communication and policies with Costco and vendor partners.
• Create reports on events in collaboration with the Country Manager.
• Coordinate with Operations on changes and client requests.
