Job summary

Encore Global in Tampa, FL is seeking a Power Distribution Technician responsible for electrical set and strikes for Encore and outside production companies. You will work closely with Exhibit Coordinators, Supervisors, and Banquet Managers, assisting with AV duties when power distribution tasks are complete and reporting to the Power Distribution Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 2+ years of audio-visual experience is preferred.
• 1+ years of working with Power Distribution Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review, create and execute Exhibitor Order Forms, electrical and exhibitor booth diagrams/blueprints, and determine labor and material needs for events.
• Create and execute show load-in/load-out plans for both Trade Shows and Production Companies.
• Timely and accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of required electrical power for events.
• Build custom cables and assist in fabrication of electrical components when needed.
• Troubleshoot and solve power issues and assist in cross-training AV Technicians.
