Job summary

Hyatt Regency Long Beach in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Event Planning Manager to service Sale bookings, act as liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff, and ensure smooth event execution.

Responsibilities include administering the Sales agreement, detailing Food, Beverage and A/V needs, managing room blocks, billing instructions and final review; on-site contact for events.

Qualifications

• Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program.
• Prefer candidate has completed PSS or equivalent training.

The Event Planning Manager's primary focus is servicing Sale bookings. This position acts as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff. Event Planning Managers also are the on-site contacts and are responsible for the smooth execution of all events.

The salary range for this position is $76,800 - $96,900. This is the pay range for this position that Hyatt Regency Long Beach reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
