Job summary

Alight Solutions is seeking an Event Specialist to plan and deliver impactful internal and external events. You will coordinate logistics, cross-functional workstreams, vendor relationships, schedules, and communications to ensure high-quality attendee experiences.

The role requires 1–3 years in event planning, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and event tech. A hybrid work setup and travel up to 20% are expected.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in event planning or related coordination.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, vendors, venues, or other external partners.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and event management technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end planning and execution for large-scale events.
• Coordinate materials and brand collateral to ensure deliverables are on-brand and on schedule.
• Maintain project plans, budgets, and event schedules.
• Assist with registration, attendee surveys, and related communications.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to track deliverables and timelines.
• Coordinate with suppliers, venues, and external partners for timely decisions.
• Bring creative ideas balancing budget, timing, brand, and operations.
• Identify challenges and propose solutions throughout planning.
• Assist with ad hoc project needs and post-event follow-up.
