Job summary

LOVB Miami seeks an Event Operations Manager to oversee game-day and year-round events, coordinating venues, staff, and partners. You will ensure a safe, seamless fan and athlete experience while managing budgets and post-event analysis.

The role requires collaboration with the VP of Marketing & Fan Experience and a hybrid in-person schedule in Miami, FL, with frequent evenings and weekend duties during the Pro season.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sports or live event management, operations, or coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of event execution for LOVB Miami home competitions and partner events.
• Develop venue SOPs, playbooks, floor plans, and run-of-show documents.
• Coordinate teams, media, staff, volunteers, and partners before, during, and after events.
• Source and manage third-party vendors for staffing, security, rentals, and production.
• Create and implement Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with Pro Operations on on-court staff scheduling and training.
• Plan home event timelines integrating production, staffing, and logistics.
• Lead offseason event planning and staff recruitment for game days.
• Build and manage event budgets and post-event reporting.
• Focus on sustainability and reuse in all events.
• Enhance fan journey in-venue and support promotions and sponsor activations.
