Job summary

LOVB Miami Volleyball is seeking a Business Operations Manager to keep our growing club running, connecting finance, people ops, vendors and the venue. You will own budgets, contracts, merch operations and match-day logistics, while supporting the internship program and event planning in a fast-paced sports startup environment.

The role is in‑market, on‑site in Miami, with a focus on building scalable processes, improving reporting, and ensuring timely, accurate execution across all operational

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in business operations, finance, or live events management.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and experience with budgets and reporting.
• Experience with contracts, vendors, procurement, and admin operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operating budget and monthly variance reporting.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, POs, expense reporting, and card admin.
• Coordinate revenue reporting and match settlement with Ticketing and venue.
• Own inventory and retail operations, including POS and e‑commerce.
• Administer the club's e‑commerce, pricing, fulfillment and returns.
• Manage contracts, vendor onboarding, insurance certificates, and W‑9s.
• Coordinate recruiting, payroll inputs, benefits, and time tracking.
• Oversee match-day operations, staffing, credentialing and logistics.
• Coordinate team travel, equipment, inventory and calendar deadlines.
• Establish operating procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
