Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a facilities operations professional to oversee facility conversions and event set-ups at the CU Events Center, coordinating maintenance and repair planning for buildings and equipment.

The role involves hands-on management during concerts, commencements, exams, and large stadium events at Folsom Field, focusing on safety, reliability, and timely communication with event managers.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressively responsible experience in building maintenance, planning, scheduling, and technical event production.
• Flexibility of work schedule is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee event set-ups for concerts, commencements, exams, tradeshows, athletic practices and competitions and conferences.
• Assess client needs and operating the event with attention to audio/visual, scoreboards, and power capacities; coordinate last-minute changes.
• Plan and schedule maintenance and repairs to various building systems; develop preventative maintenance schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate outside contractors and university staff to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to standard.
