Job summary

The University of Colorado Boulder seeks a facilities operations professional to oversee conversions and event set-ups at the CU Events Center, manage daily maintenance operations, and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs for the facility and equipment.

This in-person, full-time role requires organizing schedules around athletic practices, games, and large events, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a commitment to CU's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressively responsible experience in facilities operations or related area.
• Ability to plan and manage maintenance and event support schedules.
• Experience with audio/visual setups and troubleshooting.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with Daktronics equipment or similar scoreboard systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee event set-ups for concerts, commencements, exams, trade shows, athletic practices and competitions.
• Assess client needs and manage event logistics within the venue.
• Plan and schedule maintenance and repairs to building systems.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules and coordinate outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with operations staff.
