Job summary

Israeli American Council (IAC) in Florida seeks an Event Support Associate to help deliver welcoming, well-organized programs, local events, and large community events throughout the year. This temporary, as-needed role supports on-site logistics and event operations, with hours determined by event requirements.

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable, and organized with strong people skills.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in events, hospitality, or community programs.
• Familiarity with Israeli American and Jewish community.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.

Responsibilities

• Help set up and break down event spaces, including tables, chairs, supplies, signage, and activity stations.
• Welcome guests, manage check-in, answer basic questions, and direct attendees.
• Support staff, volunteers, performers, and vendors during events.
• Assist with children’s and family activities while parents are responsible for supervision.
• Keep event areas organized, stocked, and presentable.
• Help with attendance records, supplies, and other event follow-up tasks.
