Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic ALS Provider to join the EMS Special Events Team. You will coordinate care for high-acuity patients at events, work with event medical staff, and liaise with EMS and police personnel to ensure timely and effective care.

Training on ALS competencies is required within 3 months of hire. The role requires paramedic certification or MN RN with critical care/ED experience, or MN RN with EMT certification, and a proven track record in emergency medical

Qualifications

• Paramedic certified by MN EMSRB or RN MN with critical care/ED experience
• RN MN with current MN EMT certification is acceptable
• ESSENTIAL: strong communication and patient care abilities

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for high-acuity patients to expedite treatment or transport to the ED
• Communicate with event medical staff and assign patient care needs
• Coordinate with EMS and police personnel as necessary
• Observe, participate in and manage overall patient care to resolve issues or potential problems
