Job summary

HealthPartners' Regions Hospital seeks an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Provider for EMS event medicine in Oakdale, MN. The role supports event medical and first aid stations at venues, delivering high-acuity patient care from arrival through ED transport.

Responsibilities include coordinating care for high-acuity patients, communicating with event staff and EMS/police, and guiding BLS providers while executing orders and procedures. ALS competencies are required within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification by MN EMSRB or RN MN with critical care/ED experience.
• RN MN with critical care or ED experience qualifies for RN pathway.
• RN MN with EMT certification also acceptable as alternative.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care of high acuity patients to expedite ED transport.
• Communicate with event medical staff and assign patient care needs.
• Coordinate with EMS and police personnel as necessary.
• Observe and manage overall patient care and resolve issues.
• Direct BLS providers and document EMS orders and procedures.
• Demonstrate ALS competencies within 3 months of hire.
