Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic contractor to develop and execute effective events and trade shows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-impact events, including tradeshows, workshops, educational events, and meetings that align with our brand and strategy objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management and intrapersonal skills who is detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop comprehensive event action plans, including show strategy, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations in alignment with Danaher planning tools.
2. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of events.
3. Collaborate with procurement on contract negotiations and SOWs.
4. Collaborate with exhibitor warehouse vendor and marketing communication to design the tradeshow booth, ensuring it meets branding guidelines and attracts target audience.
5. Partner with exhibitor warehouse vendor to oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring all aspects of the events run smoothly and addressing any issues that arise promptly and efficiently.
6. Develop and maintain event budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and consolidate invoices ensuring accuracy; provide financial reporting and analysis post event.
7. Track expenses and contracts, and process invoices in a timely manner and in the correct systems.
8. Conduct a post-event analysis on key metrics to assess the event success and areas of improvement.
9. Support administrative work, such as contracts, invoices, NDAs, reports, documentation, templates.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2. Minimum of [3+] years of experience in event planning and tradeshow management.
3. Proven track record of managing successful corporate events and tradeshows.
4. Strong project management skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
6. Willingness to travel 25% to 35% of time.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience in the biotechnology, diagnostics, or healthcare sector.
2. Knowledge of current event trades and best practices.
3. Certification in event planning (CMP, CSEP, etc.).
