Job description

Experience Without Limits

Come shape the future of brand experience.

At Jack Morton, we design and build head-turning, smile-inducing, impact-driving brand experiences that redefine what experiential marketing can achieve. We help our clients unlock the full value of experiences by turning bold ideas into meaningful connections.

That takes a team that's bold, curious, and acts as one. We build on each other's ideas, challenge conventions, and show up for one another every day. Here, you'll do your best work, grow quickly, and partner across clients, disciplines, and global teams to bring new ideas to life.

This is a place where curiosity drives what's next, boldness raises the bar, and every win is shared. Where ownership is expected, egos are left at the door, and the work reflects the passion and talent of the people behind it.

Experience without limits-in your work, your growth, and your impact.

While you'll be a Jack Morton employee, this role will be uniquely embedded with one of our key tech clients. Candidates must be based in the NYC area and willing to work in the office at least 4 days a week.

We're looking for an Event Manager / Producer to join Jack Morton in a unique embedded role with one of our global technology clients.

You’ll be a Jack Morton employee working day-to-day as a dedicated member of the client team, helping manage a year-round portfolio of industry events across North America and EMEA. You'll get closer to the client, their business and their stakeholders than you might in a traditional agency role while staying connected to the production expertise, resources and community of Jack Morton.

The portfolio includes approximately 12 to 14 events annually, plus additional activations, ranging from e xecutive roundtables and dinners to in-office experiences, virtual programs and activations connected to major industry conferences .

This is a role for someone who loves making things happen: highly organized, proactive, calm under pressure and ready to take real ownership.

What you’ll do

You’ll help own the operational delivery of the event portfolio from kick-off through reconciliation, including:

  • Build and manage production timelines, critical paths, deliverables and status reporting across multiple concurrent events.
  • Coordinate venues, catering, AV, signage, décor, swag and other production partners.
  • Manage event logistics including registration, guest lists, invitations and RSVPs, room configurations, security/access and executive or VIP requirements.
  • Develop and manage run of show documents and support on-site event delivery.
  • Partner with internal client teams, external industry organizations, vendors and other agency partners to keep work moving.
  • Manage event budgets, estimates, POs, invoicing and reconciliation, identifying potential overages or risks early.
  • Maintain accurate event calendars, trackers, briefing documents and other program tools.
  • Support sponsored activations and ensure agreed sponsorship deliverables are planned and executed.
  • Create consistency across a portfolio of events while continuously looking for ways to make the work smarter and more efficient.
What we’re looking for

You're an event producer who is as comfortable with a budget tracker as you are walking a venue or running a show. You understand that great production is often about anticipating the details nobody else has thought about yet.

Ideally, you bring:

  • 4-6 years of experience in live event production, experiential marketing or event program management.
  • Experience managing multiple events or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Experience producing executive-level events, meetings, dinners, conferences or sponsored activations.
  • Strong production fundamentals across vendors, budgets, timelines, F&B, AV, registration and on-site logistics.
  • Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent organization, communication and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working independently within a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Strong financial and administrative skills, including estimates, POs, invoicing and reconciliation.
  • An interest in technology, digital advertising and/or the broader marketing industry.
  • Curiosity about AI and how it can improve the way teams work.
  • Ability to collaborate across North American and European time zones and travel as required.
  • New York City metro-area location.
Why this role is different

You’ll be embedded. You won't just receive a brief and disappear to produce it. You'll sit close to the client team, understand their business and become a trusted part of how they work.

You’ll own a portfolio, not just a project. You’ll see patterns across events, build better ways of working and help create consistency across a year-round program.

You’ll build the skills that move producers forward. Alongside event execution, you’ll develop deeper experience in client leadership, financial management, stakeholder manageme
