We’re looking for an Event Manager / Producer to join Jack Morton in a uniqueembedded role with one of our global technology clients.
You’ll be a Jack Morton employee working day-to-day as a dedicated member of the client team, helping manage a year-round portfolio of industry events across North America and EMEA. You’ll get closer to the client, their business and their stakeholders than you might in a traditional agency role while staying connected to the production expertise, resources and community of Jack Morton.
The portfolio includes approximately 12 to 14 events annually, plus additional activations, ranging from executive roundtables and dinners to in-office experiences, virtual programs and activations connected to major industry conferences.
This is a role for someone who loves making things happen: highly organized, proactive, calm under pressure and ready to take real ownership.
You’ll help own the operational delivery of the event portfolio from kick-off through reconciliation, including:
Build and manage production timelines, critical paths, deliverables and status reporting across multiple concurrent events.
Manage event logistics including registration, guest lists, invitations and RSVPs, room configurations, security/access and executive or VIP requirements.
Develop and manage run of show documents and support on-site event delivery.
Partner with internal client teams, external industry organizations, vendors and other agency partners to keep work moving.
Manage event budgets, estimates, POs, invoicing and reconciliation, identifying potential overages or risks early.
Maintain accurate event calendars, trackers, briefing documents and other program tools.
Support sponsored activations and ensure agreed sponsorship deliverables are planned and executed.
Create consistency across a portfolio of events while continuously looking for ways to make the work smarter and more efficient.
You’re an event producer who is as comfortable with a budget tracker as you are walking a venue or running a show. You understand that great production is often about anticipating the details nobody else has thought about yet.
Ideally, you bring:
4-6 years of experience inlive event production, experiential marketing or event program management.
Experience managing multiple events or workstreams simultaneously.
Experience producing executive-level events, meetings, dinners, conferences or sponsored activations.
Strong production fundamentals across vendors, budgets, timelines, F&B, AV, registration and on-site logistics.
Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
Excellent organization, communication and attention to detail.
Comfort working independently within a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
Strong financial and administrative skills, including estimates, POs, invoicing and reconciliation.
An interest in technology, digital advertising and/or the broader marketing industry.
Curiosity about AI and how it can improve the way teams work.
Ability to collaborate across North American and European time zones and travel as required.
New York City metro-area location.
You’re successful when the client team trusts you to own the details and keep the work moving. Plans are current. Budgets are accurate. Risks are raised early—with solutions. Events are prepared before anyone walks into the room. And the client’s program and partnership leads can spend more of their time focused on their business because they know you have the production operation covered.
Most importantly, you become a trusted extension of both teams: representing Jack Morton while becoming an indispensable day-to-day partner to the client.
Last but not least, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion.
Jack Morton is an equal opportunity employer; we strongly value diversity at our companies. We do not discriminate on race, religion, color, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
