Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza & Battle House Renaissance Hotel & Spa is seeking an Event Manager to flawlessly execute hotel events by coordinating with sales, departments, and guests. You will manage pre-event, event, and post-event processes, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, managing group room blocks, and forecasting event revenue.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication with customers and internal teams.
• Liaison between sales, hotel departments, and guests.
• Up-sell products and services to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate meetings and pre/post-event processes.
• Forecast group rooms and event revenue for conventions.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and maintain effective verbal and written communication with customers throughout the event process.
• Serve as a liaison between field salespersons and customers during pre-event, event, and post-event stages.
• Oversee the entire customer experience from file turnover to post-event handover to sales.
• Lead pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups and convention services.
• Manage group room blocks and meeting space allocations using internal tools.
• Ensure compliance with event management standards and procedures.
• Capture guest feedback and address issues promptly to enhance experiences.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to improve overall event outcomes.
• Support sales process through site inspections and upsell opportunities.
• Forecast sleeping rooms and event revenue for conventions.
