Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa is seeking a Director of Event Management to lead and elevate our programs for group and catering events. You will guide the Event Management team, coordinate across departments, and ensure superior guest experiences at a premier Montgomery property.

The role requires a seasoned event professional with strong leadership, client relations, and the ability to drive complex events from planning through execution, including BEOs and resumes.

Qualifications

• Director-level Event Management leadership in a full-service hotel, convention center, or large group hotel.
• Proven ability to lead and develop an Event Management team.
• Hands-on detailing of group and catering events, BEOs, event orders, resumes, and pre-cons.
• Experience with Marriott CI/TY preferred.
• Strong client communication and cross-department coordination.
• Schedule flexibility including early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Event Management team at Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa.
• Oversee planning and execution of group and catering events, including BEOs and event orders.
• Coordinate with sales, banquets, culinary, and other departments to ensure flawless events.
