Job summary

New Works Remodeling LLC is seeking a rockstar Shows & Events Manager to develop, lead a department and a team of demonstrators promoting our home improvement brand at shows and events in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

You and your team will generate leads, recruit/train staff, manage event setups, and report on productivity and budgets. Weekend work is required to cover events and shows across the territory.

Qualifications

• Team management and leadership experience required.
• Customer service or B2C marketing experience required.
• Recruiting and hiring experience is a regular focus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to talk with customers.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; non-commute travel reimbursed.
• Ability to stand for extended hours at event booths.
• Basic computer literacy for admin/reporting duties.
• Must be willing to work every weekend.

Responsibilities

• Find and book new shows and events for weekends within your territory.
• Generate leads that convert to sales at show booths.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage the events team of demonstrators.
• Ensure promotional booths are set up attractively at shows and events.
• Plan, coordinate, and organize schedules for events and team.
• Weekly reporting on productivity, labor, inventory, and budget.

Shows & Events Manager

New Works Remodeling LLCis seeking a rockstar team leader ready to develop, manage, and lead an Event Department and team of demonstrators in promoting our industry-leading home improvement brand in-person at shows and events in the Pittsburgh, PA area!

Compensation: $18-25/hr, PLUS Commission! (Averaging Between $15,000 - $40,000)

You and your team of demonstrators will be responsible for generating new prospective customers through marketing and selling our products and services in promotional booths at the area events, fairs, and festivals everybody's talking about!

As a Shows & Events Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Find and book new shows and events for every weekend within your designated territory to demonstrate in.
• Generate leads that generate sales and profit from these show and event booths.
• Recruit, hire, train,mentor, and manage your team of Event Demonstrators who work alongside you.
• Ensure these promotional booths are set up beautifully at these shows & events.
• Plan, coordinate,and organize schedules and calendars for you, your events, and your team.
• Weekly maintain, track, and report your department’s productivity, labor, inventory, and budget.
• Set and ensure goals for each event, week, and month are achieved.
• Keep open, regular, and prompt communication with supervision and other departments.

Requirements

• Team Management & Leadership experience
• Customer Service or Business-to-Customer Marketing experience
• Recruiting & Hiring experience as this will be a regular focus
• Great interpersonal skills: You mustwant to talk with new people and customers, and be decent at it!
