Job summary

Five Iron Golf Baltimore LLC is seeking an energetic Event Captain to lead bar service and on-site event execution at our Baltimore venue. You will manage food and beverage operations, coordinate with kitchen and sales teams, and ensure a premium guest experience during daily operations and contracted events.

The role requires nights and weekends work and collaboration with a dynamic team to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or managing events.
• Server/bar/hospitality experience encouraged but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-centric approach with upsell ability.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must meet state minimum age to bartend.
• Ability to obtain licensing/certifications for the location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to guests and ensure a memorable experience.
• Maintain knowledge of offerings; upsell and present menus.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner.
• Use POS terminals to enter orders and process payments.
• Manage inventory and ensure bar stock is maintained.
• Maintain clean and guest-ready bar, simulators, and surroundings.
• Lead on-site event execution, greetings, space prep, issue resolution, and closing.
• Collaborate with kitchen and Sales teams to meet customer expectations.
• Train staff and coordinate with teams to provide premium events.
