Job summary

Legends Global is hiring a Prep Cook for on-site operations at the Wilmington Convention Center. You will assist in producing hot and cold foods under the direction of the Executive Chef and ensure inventory and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitary workstation, following approved recipes, labeling items, and assisting in preparation of vegetables, proteins, and salads. Must be able to lift 40 lbs and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands English.
• Ability to measure weights and volumes accurately.
• Keeps a clean, organized workstation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized sanitary workstation.
• Label and date food items for storage and sales.
• Assist in preparation of vegetables, baked goods, proteins, and salads.
• Minimize waste by controlling overage and usage.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards.
• Prepare all food for concessions as directed by Executive Chef.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
