Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• ServSafe Allergens and Food Handler certification preferred or obtainable prior to events.
• Elevated time management, organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to lift and transport items up to 50 lbs and endure extended hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for comprehensive knowledge of all recipes and ensures items are prepared according to established recipes and specifications.
• Oversees cooks on recipes, techniques, portioning, plating and proper execution of menu items.
• Maintains sanitation and safe operation of all kitchen equipment including ovens, ranges, grills, fryers, steamers, mixers, slicers and refrigeration units.
• Supervises food cooking, preparation and assembly to ensure quality, consistency, presentation and timely service.
• Maintains organization and sanitation of all kitchen spaces: production areas, walk-ins, dry storage, prep areas and dish areas.
• Manages production flow, staffing support and adherence to policies; ensures ServSafe compliance.
