Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking Guest Services Staff for the Watsco Center at the University of Miami. You will warmly welcome attendees, provide information, and support event operations to create a great guest experience.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and collaboration with event staff to ensure safety and smooth operations. Pay is $15 per hour for part-time shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and HS diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in busy environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist event attendees with warmth and information.
• Help with setup, signage placement, and event-related tasks.
• Monitor venues for cleanliness and policy compliance.
• Answer questions about the event, facilities, and amenities.
• Direct guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address inquiries or complaints professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure safety.
• Follow company policies and deliver high standards of service.
