Job summary

AEG is seeking an Accountant to prepare, maintain and analyze financial records, including road checks, bank deposits, and wires. You will reconcile settlements, code invoices by show, and work with venue staff to ensure timely submissions in the show system.

Responsibilities include monthly closings, supporting management with reports, and ensuring data is accurate across systems like JD Edwards; a background in music industry is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 1-2 years of related work experience.
• Experience in month end close process.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with JD Edwards, Image Now/Perceptive and Concur is a plus.
• Music industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank transactions, show files, tickets sales, marketing invoices, balance sheets, and card charges; research discrepancies.
• Code and reconcile invoices for each show; process road checks, daily cash receipts, invoices, artist payments, and cash transactions.
• Work with venue staff to ensure settlements are submitted timely into the show system.
• Review and reconcile supporting documents in settlement files and accrue activity monthly.
• Compare show system settlements with JD Edwards to ensure data accuracy.
• Submit and code G&A expenses to the appropriate unit/department.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects, income statements, balance sheets, and report generation.
