Job summary

ASM Global in Ithaca, NY seeks an Event Facilities Aide to support setup and cleanup for events across all venues. You will move and arrange flooring, chairs, walls, barricades and tables, and operate light equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Previous experience in event set-up preferred.
• Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down flooring, chairs, walls, barricades, staging and tables for events.
• Operate equipment like pallet jacks, scrubbers, extractors and light power tools.
• Clean and stock restrooms; sweep, mop, dust, trash removal and vacuuming.
• Assist with general maintenance and move equipment to/offsite storage.
• Assist clients and visitors; attend planning and safety meetings.
