Legends Global at The Oncenter in Syracuse seeks a part-time Facilities Aide to support event preparation and operations. You will assist with set-up and tear-down, cleaning, and basic maintenance to ensure venues are ready for each show.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are available for nights and weekends, and can work with hand tools. Forklift certification is a plus; professional appearance is essential. This union-backed role offers growth opportunities within Legends Global.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in event setup or related field preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and attitude essential.
• Working knowledge of hand tools.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down flooring, chairs, walls, barricades, staging, tables for events.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scrubbing machines and other power-driven tools.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and perform janitorial tasks.
• Provide snow removal and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Perform general maintenance and janitorial duties to support venue readiness.
• Ensure proper facility preparations for event needs.
• Assist clients and visitors as required.
• Attend planning, training, and staff meetings.
