Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Higher Education Administration, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Substantive professional experience leading complex event planning and management initiatives, preferably in higher education or nonprofit environments.
• Experience managing large-scale, high-visibility events with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing event plans, timelines, run-of-show, and operations from concept to assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic portfolio of divisional, employee engagement, professional development, recognition, and Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs events.
• Provide creativity, organization, and operational leadership for end-to-end event lifecycles.
• Develop and manage event planning processes that advance priorities and support a culture of belonging and engagement.
