Job summary

Topbrassdallas is seeking a Convention Services Manager to oversee all aspects of convention and event planning, from client onboarding to on-site execution. You will coordinate with internal teams to meet technical and service requirements while managing vendors and contracts.

The role requires strong organizational and project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in convention services, event management, or hospitality industry.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for contracted clients, managing all aspects of their convention and event needs.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all logistical, technical, and service requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, understanding their specific needs and expectations.
• Oversee event planning, setup, execution, and post-event activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure quality services and favorable terms.
• Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Provide on-site support during events, troubleshooting issues promptly and professionally.
• Prepare detailed reports and feedback to improve future event planning and client satisfaction.
