Job summary

Gila County in Globe, AZ is seeking an Events/Facilities Coordinator to support County plans and events at the Gila County Fairgrounds. You will help prepare operational reports and respond to inquiries about facility use and availability.

You will direct and oversee all event setup and tear down according to client specifications and serve as the on-site contact during events. You will liaise between County departments and outside vendors to coordinate special activities.

Responsibilities

• Assists with various County plans, projects and programs for events and activities at the Gila County Fairgrounds. Prepares operational reports as needed.
• Responds to customer inquiries regarding Gila County Fairgrounds facilities uses and availability. Assists customers with the planning of events.
• Directs and oversees all event set up and tear down per event customers specifications.
• Serves as on-site contact for customers during event functions.
• Serves as a liaison between County departments and outside organizations and vendors in coordination of special events.
• Advises Facilities Management Department of any facility related maintenance or safety concerns.
• Works closely with Facilities Management Department in ensuring compliance with liability insurance requirements with customers, Arizona Counties Insurance Pool (ACIP) and County.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
