Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a part-time EMT-Defibrillation level team member for prehospital care at customer venues. You will deliver patient care per OEMS guidelines and hospital policy, at various prehospital workstations, including ambulances.

The role requires NC EMT certification, BCLS, a valid driver's license, and 1–2 years of 911 EMS experience. Responsibilities include safe transport support and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Current NC EMT certification required.
• BCLS required.
• Current Driver's License required.
• National EMT registry preferred.
• 1 to 2 years experience with a 911 service as an EMT required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care at the EMT-Defibrillation level per special events protocols and NC OEMS guidelines.
• Supports paramedic or nurse during patient transport and assists with packaging and care.
• Drives vehicles per policy and state/local law, ensuring passenger safety.
• Ensures vehicle is cleaned and restocked after each event or transport.
• Documents patient condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
