Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas, a nationally recognized health care system in central North Carolina, is seeking an EMT to join its prehospital team. The EMT is responsible for ambulance operations and delivering basic level care during transport and in the field.

Candidates must hold NC EMT certification, current BCLS/BTLS/PHTLS certification, a valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record, be at least 18, and have two years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must have current NC EMT certification.
• Current certification in BCLS, BTLS, or PHTLS.
• Current valid NC driver\'s license (as appropriate) with a good driving record.
• Must be 18 years of age with two years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate ambulance and provide basic level emergency/non-emergency care.
• Ensure safe patient transport and prehospital care under ambulance operations.
