Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an EMT-Defibrillation level professional to provide direct patient care at the EMT-D level and to support transport teams during events. The role includes safe driving, proper documentation, and maintaining equipment between transports.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care at the EMT-D level per events protocols and OEMS guidelines.
• Support paramedic or nurse during transport and assist with patient care.
• Drive vehicles according to policies and ensure passenger safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock the vehicle after each event or transport.
• Document patient condition and care while protecting confidentiality.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing education.
