Job summary

Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium is seeking an Event Manager to organize and supervise conventions and tradeshows in Indianapolis, IN.

You will maintain client communications, coordinate setup with staff and vendors, and create detailed AutoCAD diagrams for each event. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of large-event experience. Pension and health plans are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in event planning, public relations, customer service or related field; 3–5 years experience organizing and executing large scale events in a convention center or tradeshow environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with clients to assist in planning and coordination of events.
• Coordinate physical set-up requirements and service needs for clients.
• Coordinate set-up activity with internal and external vendors for successful execution.
• Work with sales department to assure client’s requirements are met.
• Create detailed set-up diagrams on AutoCAD software for each event.
• Act as liaison to outside service contractors.
