Job summary

Fooda is seeking an on-site Events Support Associate in the Waco, TX area to help run Fooda events, set up equipment, coordinate with restaurants, and ensure a top-quality guest experience.

You will gain competency with Fooda’s platform, troubleshoot issues, coach mobile app users, and support promotions. Prior catering/serving experience preferred; must be reliable, energetic, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down equipment and ensure clean, well-organized event areas.
• Coordinate with restaurants to bring them onsite and accessible to the building.
• Troubleshoot late deliveries, incorrect orders, or miscommunication.
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues with guests.
• Support onsite promotions and app coaching for attendees.
• Monitor and audit event setup for consistency and quality.
• Escalate issues to Manager when needed to keep operations smooth.

Who We Are:

Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limitedand the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago’s local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food. It was an immediate hit. What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, 2.) getting restaurants onsite and access to the building
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve

• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
