Job summary

Fooda seeks an on-site Events Support Associate to assist with Fooda events, including setup, teardown, and delivering excellent guest service at partner locations.

You will gain competency with Fooda’s technology, coordinate restaurant access, troubleshoot onsite issues, and travel between sites in your own car during regular business hours. Prior catering or serving experience is strongly preferred, with long‑term opportunities for advancement within Fooda.

Responsibilities

• Assist Fooda events onsite with setup, teardown, and maintaining high quality service.
• Coordinate with restaurants to ensure access and correct setup.
• Troubleshoot issues with orders, deliveries, or communications.
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues.
• Support promotions and coaching for the mobile app at events.
• Escalate issues to a manager when necessary for problem solving.

Requirements

What You'll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, 2.) getting restaurants onsite and access to the building
• Gain competency with Fooda's technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
