Job summary

Fooda is seeking a part-time Event Coordinator for our New Jersey market to support events with onsite setup, teardown, and customer service. The role involves problem-solving, maintaining high-quality event standards, and learning Fooda’s technology and procedures.

You are customer-focused, tech-savvy, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Previous catering or serving experience is preferred, with a schedule of 8 AM–2 PM Tuesday to Thursday.

Fooda is currently recruiting for a part time Event Coordinator in our New Jersey market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• On-site Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday 8AM-2PM

• You're someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You're looking for a steady part-time job (between 20-25hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
