  • Working Location: Hybrid role with a mix of remote tasks and on-site support in New York City and Westchester for events, meetings, and coordination activities.

Job Overview:

This hybrid role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to clean transportation initiatives by supporting marketing, outreach, and event logistics. The contractor will collaborate closely with the E-Mobility Marketing Manager/Specialist and Business Development team to plan and execute campaigns, develop marketing materials, engage stakeholders digitally, and coordinate event logistics.

Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and effective cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent brand messaging and meaningful community engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in outreach, marketing coordination, event planning, or customer-facing roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience with Excel and Workfront is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability in drafting outreach materials and presentations

Preferred Soft Skills:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light materials at events
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to shifting priorities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support creation of slide decks, collateral, and program updates with marketing and outreach teams
  • Manage and maintain the outreach team’s event calendar; coordinate with internal/external organizers and research new opportunities
  • Oversee collateral and giveaway inventory, including procurement and organization of marketing materials
  • Review, update, and submit marketing assets (e.g., flyers, one-pagers, postcards with promo codes) on a quarterly basis
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks including print requests, promo code tracking, and Workfront submissions for digital updates
  • Lead the monthly execution of SCNY email and postcard campaigns, coordinating with CA Marketing
  • Track promo code activations with vendors (e.g., ev.energy); maintain accurate logs of requests and usage
  • Submit internal web edit requests and coordinate necessary approvals with supervisors
  • Organize internal Business Development meetings including logistics, AV/IT setup, and speaker alignment
  • Provide on-site event support including scheduling, catering coordination, and facilities management
  • Follow all company safety and site protocols during field work and events
