A leading entertainment venue in Columbus is seeking an Event Coordinator to support the sales department and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The role includes managing event logistics, communication with guests and team members, and administrative duties to facilitate successful events. Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Event Coordinator supports the sales department in executing the important behind-the-scenes administrative functions that keep the store functioning efficiently. Without this critical role, our efforts to provide “unreasonable hospitality” would be impossible. The Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales department by completing administrative duties and confirmation calls to finalize event details. Additionally, the Event Coordinator participates in the sales process and is responsible for booking a portion of our social market.

• You can analyze basic data to assist Operations and the Sales Team with decision-making.
• You can read and communicate effectively in English.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Go above and beyond to meet the needs of each Special Events Guest, communicating all requests from the host to ensure all contracts are updated.
• Handle RFPs and calls for social events, converting them into confirmed business.
• Conduct site tours as needed.
• Ensure accurate and prompt distribution of all paperwork for “pop-up parties,” working with management to ensure adequate staffing.
• Provide administrative support to the Sales Department, including follow-up on calls/emails/tasks with Event Hosts after the sale is closed, and communicate any changes to BEOs or signed contracts to Operations.
• Follow up on accounts receivable, collect payment information, and close out remaining balances.
• Submit check requests and invoices as needed.
• Ensure Operations has the most up-to-date BEO for each event.
• Offer upsell opportunities to Event Hosts after the sale is closed.

Salary Range:
$13.45 - $18.25
