Job summary

Fooda in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Event Coordinator to support onsite events, set up and tear down, and ensure high-quality service for Fooda’s restaurant partners.

You will learn Fooda technology and procedures, handle issues like late deliveries or miscommunications, and provide real-time customer service on Fridays 10AM–2PM. Prior catering or serving experience preferred; must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or events background preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Be onsite to set-up and tear down event spaces and equipment, and ensure high quality setup and customer experience.
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operating procedures.
• Resolve issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, or miscommunications.
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly with consumers.
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event setup to ensure consistency and quality.
• Escalate issues to the Operations Manager when needed.
• On-site Schedule: Friday 10AM - 2PM.

Fooda is currently recruiting for a part time Event Coordinator in our New Jersey market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience


• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures


• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication


• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer


• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality


• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve


• On-site Schedule: Friday 10AM - 2PM

• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
