Since 2010, GPC has recovered and repurposed over 5 million gallons of paint, distributing them across 44 countries and improving the homes, schools, and communities of more than 15 million people worldwide.

Our mission is to use color as a catalyst for change—transforming lives, uplifting neighborhoods, and reducing environmental waste. Through strategic partnerships, community outreach, and global initiatives, we bring hope, creativity, and sustainability to underserved communities around the world.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about event management, marketing, sustainability, and global community service who want to gain hands‑on experience in nonprofit operations.

As an Events Coordinator, you will assist with planning, logistics, communications, and post‑event reporting for a variety of initiatives—from paint drives and community beautification projects to fundraising galas and international outreach campaigns. This position offers direct collaboration with executive leadership, PR, and marketing teams, giving you a 360‑degree view of global event coordination and strategy.

  • Manage pre‑ and post‑event data, including attendance, RSVPs, and participant feedback.
  • Support setup for virtual and in‑person events, including decor, materials, and supplies.
Communication & Relationship Management
  • Liaise with event hosts, partners, sponsors, and vendors to ensure all deliverables are met.
  • Draft correspondence and follow‑ups related to sponsorships, invitations, and post‑event appreciation.
  • Maintain event documentation, digital folders, and contact databases.
  • Provide timely updates to the Web and Social Media team for event listings, announcements, and recaps.
Administrative & Logistical Support
  • Coordinate committee meetings and track action items.
  • Process donation and sponsorship forms, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Research new venues, partners, and event opportunities that align with GPC’s mission.
  • Support event marketing by drafting promotional copy, gathering photos, and assisting with public relations.
  • Prepare reports analyzing event outcomes, key metrics, and recommendations for improvement.

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive); familiarity with Excel, Word, or project management tools (Asana, Trello) preferred.
  • Creative thinker with a collaborative mindset and an eye for detail.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Passion for sustainability, color, and community transformation.
